Personal history

He was once a valiant knight in King Arthur's court. But when he fell in battle, mortally wounded while saving Arthur, he became afraid. When Infinite Grace didn't answer his prayers, he pleaded to anyone or anything that he thought could save him. What he didn't realize was that there was a darkness listening to him.
Disharmonia spoke to him, gave him a choice. Mordred chose to live and became the first Gloombringer. With Disharmonia's help, he created more Gloombringers to do its will. He's one of the select few who know the extent of what their power can do and will let them do.
He is the Supreme Leader of the Gloombringers.

Accomplishments & Achievements

He achieved a lot while he was still a human.
As a Gloombringer, he has continued to gain honor as a knight. It's also through his astute decision as Supreme Leader that the Gloombringers have gained the ground they have against Infinite Grace and the Eternals.

His motivation boils down to vengeance. He seeks out those who have betrayed honor and justice, meting out punishment with a kind of cruel glee. As he works with the Legions against Infinite Grace and the Eternals, its vengenance that drives him because he feels betrayed by Infinite Grace.
