Personal history
While he has never stepped foot on land nor has he known the mother land of the Kingdom of Lugdia, he grew up on stories of living on land in a Kingdom of bounty and happiness. He listened dutifully as a child but always thought the stories to be exaggerated, especially since he'd never seen land before, not outside of old pictures at any rate.
He learned the ways of the Covenant of the Scattered quickly, each section was something easily conquered for him. And he made friends everywhere he went. He'd even made friends with many members of The Broken Society. When he was asked to run for Archon/Archoness, he was surprised at first because he was young (still in his 20s) but he accepted because he didn't like the current Archon/Archoness or the other contenders.
He's been the Archon/Archoness ever since. While he's not as distrustful of outsiders as his predecessor was, he is more restrictive in what information people recieve about the world outside the Covenant of the Scattered.
