Deadal

Appointed Castellan of Sentynel, Deadal holds a tenuous hold over the Shields through his Playnes superiors. The very few years under his belt as an officer paints Deadal as a pushover; an image he despises and constantly fights to suppress.
Deadal, less than a century old, is considered a baby by many of his elven peers. Knowing himself to be possibly one of the last generations of elves has given him constant performance anxiety. Young elves are typically babied and groomed for greatness; the Playnes still consider him a child and gave him Sentynel to get him out of sensitive and volatile 'Crucible.'
To counteract this, Deadal has adopted his adage "Deadal doesn't dawdle" which he tritely repeats to hoping to fight his image of weakness.
