Sanctum of the Unknown

Purpose / Function

To train, plan, prepare, and educate those selected to be members of the Ninth Unknown. This training hones the body and mind into physical, mental, and emotional control. Those who go in, come out vastly different from when they enter. No one who goes in and fails this training has ever left, whether that means they are killed, or forced to work to maintain the sanctum, has never been publicly announced.

History

This was the location of where the first shadar-kai crossed over. They created this temple and monastery in order to remember their home, and it has since been transformed into the home of assassins and secrets. Even so, study here is intense, and embraces the shadow arts.
