It's prom night for Phillip Li, and the Guardians tell him to go and have fun while they stay on guard at his house in case the twins come. Phillip feels bad, but the Guardians insist he shouldn't miss out this night, so he goes. That night, the twins appear, however to the Guardians surprise they have brought others with them. The twins tell the Guardians that they're only their for the kids and what's inside them. A fight begins between the two groups, with the twins' group having the advantage. The Guardians are a bit overwhelmed until Phillip shows up and evens up the fight. During the fight, the Guardians receive distressing news about Kaiden and Riia Li's conditions, and choose to keep it from Phillip in fear of him acting irrational and putting himself in more danger. The twins get noticeably weaker and Phillip and the Guardians are able to subdue them and their team. This is when the twins reveal the truth about what is happening to Kaiden and Riia to Phillip, forcing on him a decision that he really doesn't want to make but feels like he has to.
