The Silver Spire
The Silver Spire is the freehold of Buena Vista, using a seasonal court system. What separates it from most such freeholds is that it functions as a democratic monarchy, with each court voting for their next monarch in the opposite season. This monarch then appoints their staff, giving them noble titles for the year. This includes a champion who decides on their title according to their talents, such as the Knight of Summer or the Sorcerer of Autumn. The Wyrd itself acts as the ballot, recording everyone's secret vote. While this system has prevented some abuses of power, it has also lead towards some corruption of the process, since a courtier's vote is now a commodity that can be bargained for.
