Casey Dalton
Queen Casey is the newest monarch of the Autumn Court. She began a movement called the Dawn Initiative to take the position from the previous Autumn King, who, like many of his predecessors, went too far in ruling the Autumn Court through fear. She believes that fear should be used as a precision tool instead of a blunt instrument, and prioritizes being feared by the freehold's enemies. She recruited Ziegfried Zapf into the Autumn Court as a confidant and the two have been mutually supportive ever since. Members of the previous administration see the Queen as soft, but few can deny that she has helped unite the freehold in the face of new external threats. It remains to be seen if she breaks the cycle of ruling through fear, or if her administration will hold without those external threats to unite her subordinates.

Morality & Philosophy
Casey Dalton believes in social justice and prefers to use pragmatic arguments to support her beliefs. It is often the disadvantaged who are most vulnerable to supernatural threats, so maintaining good relations with the homeless and outcasts means they have an early warning system. Though she holds one of the highest stations in the freehold, she recognizes that there are more powerful beings and authorities, and believes that they should live in fear of the masses, discouraging the abuse of power. She does her best to remember this, but the nature of her title may very well lead to the corruption of her ideals.
