Rhys was the Cumbrian king of the kingdom of Bedegraine before it became an incorporated county of Logres in 481.
He was betrayed by his cousin Sir Sulien in the Conquest of Bedegraine, and he died defending his kingdom at the hands of King Uther Pendragon.
