King Canan of Estregales

King Canan ͏͏͏͏

Canan was the king of Estregales, ruling over the southern Cambria. King Branvarn of Cardigan and King Nanteleod of Escavalon were sworn to him as vassals. He was a legate of the Supreme Collegium.   He was on poor political terms with King Uther Pendragon of Logres after refusing to help defend his own land in the Battle of Menevia. He agreed to help Logres fight Malahaut, but was assassinated by his steward Sir Orcas in 494.   He was succeeded by his eldest son, King Dirac of Estregales.
