Mashida
NE, The Chained Warlord
Mashida is a Fire Oni that has roamed in Impesta for thousands of years. Forced into hiding during the reign of the Tragodian Empire Mashida saw a golden opportunity when the Demon's invaded. He came out of hiding recruiting other strong fighters and enslaving the helpless local population, roaming Impesta to kill demon and humanoid alike. During this conflict Mashida consumed the flesh of both Demon's and humans gaining there powers, eventually being able to grant the power of domains to others.
Eventually his rampage of hedonism and gluttony came to a stop as the budding Impesta Confederacy corned him and his roaming band. Mashida initially tried to fight them but even his power wasn't enough to defeat multiple of the Impesta states fighting together. Begrudgingly a deal was struck. Mashida whilst clearly evil was also very strong and his might was felt as necessary to ward off the Tragodian Empire. They managed to invoke the divine power of Tact and bound Mashida. Mashida could not turn his captives into slaves or aggress against any of the others Impesta States, nor could he eat anyone unless he beat them in a fair duel, or if they where already dead and this death wasn't caused by Mashida. In exchange Mashida was to be granted territory in Impesta upon wich the other states would not infringe. If they do the accord will be broken. Reluctant Mashida agreed since denying the accord would mean his demise.
Whilst Mashida technically has the right to govern in whatever way he wants there is still pressure from the The Impesta Confederacy which has stopped him from implementing truly draconian laws. The alternative would be a war against the confederacy, one wish Mashida on his own would almost surely lose.
His current goal is simply to enjoy his existence to the fullest as ruler of the Mashida Clan. And to keep doing so forever more.
Also has an intense hatred of Uchimura for being another Oni to rise to his level of power.
