Quarren

Quarren was divided into two parts during the breaking. The northern half crumpled as though a piece of paper leaving only the coastlines around a jagged, untamed waste of mountains, forests, and swamps. The southern half, already a dry desert, was turned into an unforgiving waste by volcanic activity and the drying up of the lakes and rivers that spotted the land. Now the only source of water are the mysterious springs which arise and vanish at random.
