Brelimond is a plutocracy, ruled by aristocracy based on wealth. The greater the wealth, the higher the rank, topping at duke, down to baron. It's feudalistic, with the aristocracy owning land and the peasantry renting from them and working for them.
Brelimond relies largely on solar power and clockwork.
