Tetrapus
Basic Information
Anatomy
Tetrapuses are small, invertebrate creatures. they have a big, squishy head, two eyes, and four tentacles. Overall, tetrapuses are small (from 1/2 to 5 dactyls long). Some species posess colorful and/or wierdly shaped mantles.
Ecology and Habitats
Most tetrapuses are more or less specialist herbivores. The grasses of the Blue Sea, and the lush Sea of Green have high diversity of these creatures. Some specialize in feeding on only a handful of plant species, but other have a more adaptable diet.
Some tetrapus species are specialized in feeding on dead plants, and live in the forest litter.
The majority of tetrapuses are toxic, but some predators adapted to feeding on them, such as giant wasps and Magnicoccids.
