Ievahed World Congress

Responsibilities

The Ievahed World Congress is responsible first and foremost for maintaining peace among the Oriso on Hofelora and prevent any world wars among the major powers. In addition any space colonization and expeditions private or state sponsored must be approved by the congress, however since the Founding of the Sanuliwani Confederacy a few hundred years ago, they have been reluctant to approve any more major projects that would leave to many people alone in one place far from home.
This has meant that the congress has been in charge of the construction of a large orbital space port,Ominaren Station, and elevator for the past hundred or so years, that is nearing completion as the Orisolan work towards becoming a major space faring power, and towards colonizing distant, and not so distant stars once again.

Structure

It's a world congress, Made up of delegations of representatives from the major nations on Hofelora, the congress does congressional things, in a congress like manner.

Made up of most of the Orisolan minus The Sanuliwani Confederacy of course since they are not located on the same planet.
