Taes Leth is a group of neighboring municipal cities that has stand the test of time for the past eighteen millennia. It was founded on the ideology of being a safe haven for the primary elven races after a devastating war that sprawled across the entire continent of Nephai. Wood elves, moon elves, cloud elves, sea elves, high elves, and dark elves live within their own communities, keeping peaceful relations and a stable economy with each other that has lasted without incident. Within the second elven generation after its founding, groups of humans and dwarves were integrated into Taes Leth with genuine and friendly intentions. The humans took up residence within the grand, urban city of Elenalean, home of the high elves, while the dwarves moved into the underground city of Meleth Themar, home of the dark elves. Gradually, the dwarves would carve out their own cavernous city of Dharn Kuldohr, expanding into the mountains that run parallel to the coast, and the humans would found their own nearby village of Brílduvík. As time went on, other races would migrate to the various provinces that the elves ruled over, making the area become the largest melting pot for racial diversity on the continent. Taes Leth is in a unique situation in that, though the founding elves never went through official channels to do so, it is treated as its own sovereign kingdom by other countries and nations. Being controlled by elves, it is no wonder that after so much time, Taes Leth has come to be known as the City of Lore and Magic. Scholars and those magically inclined from all over have studied here, and many inspiring ones show up just for the chance to learn. Being a resident of the 18,000 year old Taes Leth – though birth or through immigration – how will you make your way in life? Taes Leth is separated into eight main regions:
