There are two major kingdoms in Nephai, The Edias Dynasty and The Principality of Menaude . Three, if you count Taes Leth, the City of Lore and Magic. The Slesheron Conglomerate and the Gekehan Kingdom are the closest neighbors to Nephai, though they are not considered to be on Nephai; they are a part of Dabesh. Taes Leth, the City of Lore and Magic is closely surrounded by the Tuldom Grove, a very large forest filled with very large trees. It is inhabited by many wood elves, and they keep the forest border guarded.
The Edias Dynasty is a lawful neutral kingdom driven by religion. They worship the three lawful deities, Chevalier, Xeddross, and Ophemis. They are currently in a three-month cease fire with The Principality of Menaude after roughly a year of war, with no clear winner.
The Principality of Menaude is a lawful neutral kingdom driven by military, and the absence of religion. If you are familiar with the Purity Legion Enforcers, imagine if they were the ruling government body of a kingdom. As can be imagined, they do not mix well with their neighbor, Edias . As mentioned, they are in a cease fire with Edias .
The Slesheron Conglomerate is a lawful neutral kingdom with a focus on finances. They are neutral in warfare, and are only interested in how best to propel their economy forward. They do not have a dog in the fight between Edias and Menaude, and are biding their time to see who comes out the winner before they make a move. In the meantime, they are more than happy with their continual nonpartisan trading with everybody to some degree. They have had a happy relationship of keeping open trading lines with Taes Leth, the City of Lore and Magic for the past many years.
Lastly, the chaotic neutral Gekehan Kingdom is uninterested in the fight between Edias and Menaude. Instead, they do not care much about anyone except themselves. Though they border Edias to the northeast, they do not allow anyone to cross into or out of their land.
