tower trees

Tower trees are emergent layer trees located in the forests of Ishä. They make up roughly 80% of the emergent trees in these rain forests. The elfs use these trees as lookout posts, as they rise to heights exceeding 270 feet, towering high above most other trees in the forest.   These trees are very hardy. Most of them are well over 1,000 years old with some specimens known to be at least 3,000 years old. Only a few are known to have died in living memory.
