Single Pilot Attack Vehicle

The Single Pilot Attack Vehicle (SPAV) was a small, fast, heavily armed and armored tracked or wheeled vehicle designed for rapid deployment as a shock force against light to medium armored targets. These were first deployed during the Polar Campaign of the First World War. The basic concept was used and improved upon during the remainder of that war, the following peacetime and the following war.   Due to their relatively short range, SPAVs were usually deployed from carrier vessels. The first versions of the SPAV were designed to be carried by the All-Terrain Personnel Transport used in the Polar Campaign.
