Koŗatyl

The Floating City

Created during the First Age, Koŗatyl was originally the home of a powerful wizard. It is kept aloft and protected to this day by a magic battery. This particular battery is powered by a trapped demon, which allowed it to survive the end of the God War. Due to its various protections, including invisibility and an air force of flying stingrays, it has largely escaped detection.
This utopia in the sky is surrounded by an impenetrable field of energy. The field renders the city invisible as well. A small population still lives on it. They are trapped in the city as they cannot penetrate the barrier from the inside either. However, they have a functional closed ecosystem inside the protective field.
