The PMC is one of the major Merchant Houses that controls the Thalassocracy of Chel. It controls a Factory in almost every major settlement in Chel. The PMC is arguably one of the most powerful of the merchant houses, though it still engages in hard competition with its major rivals, the Jukano Gulf Consortium, Birkenhoss Merchants Association, and the Chel Trading League.
