Order of Beatus Landrana

The Order of Beatus Landrana is a monastic order in the Temple of Sevina. It is a smaller order, residing in the Abbey of Beatus Landrana in the Indun Woods.   The order's founder was Landrana and was originally charged with protecting migrants going to southern Erikan Isthmus from the monsters that once inhabited that land. By the mid Third Era, the order had largely been demilitarized and was instead taking up the task of serving their local communities and quiet contemplation of the Sevina.

Structure

The order is overseen by the Abbot who is aided by their chosen successor who has the title of Prior or Prioress.   Those who wish to join the order are called postulant, who after proving their devotion to the Temple, is then admitted to the novitiate, where they serve as a novice until they find their vocation. This is done through fasting and a vocational pilgrimage.    After a novice finds their vocation, they are either admitted to the order as full brothers or sisters, or released to join a different order in the temple if their vocation does not align with the order.
