Nymphs
Nymphs are Fairfolk who are generally tied to specific natural areas or landmarks, many also serve in a gods retinue and live in their realms.
Nymphs can be divided into many different types, including Dryads or tree spirits, Hydriades or water spirits, Wuthides or winds spirits, and Terriades or land spirits.
Most nymphs prefer to take female shape when they enter humanoid form, though not always, and they can change their physical form at will, usually taking the form of a creature or plant native to their domain. For example a dryad may observe a group of hunter while appearing as an ancient oak tree or a stag.
