Hydriades are water
Nymphs. They are split into two main types
Nereids who are spirits of saltwater, and
Naiads who are spirits of freshwater.
Hydriades mostly reside within their specific body of water, and can be cruel or kind to the mortals who come across them depending on their disposition.
