Dream Drinker

The Dream Drinker is a terrifying Vampire like creature, and like a vampire its power originates from the Dusklands, but it comes from the realm of the Prince of Broken Dreams. The Dream Drinker was made first by the mage Zauverlind, who created the first Dream Drinkers in the dark woods of Tahara Margravate in Tivel.
Dream Drinkers start life as any normal member of the Cognizana, but they are twisted through a ritual into a Dream Drinker. Some are able to retain some of their previous sensibilities and stifle their hunger, but many are over taken by their hunger to consume the dreams of mortals.
