The Cult of Borea
The Borean people have simple deities of the natural world, two in particular, and do honour to them for their bounty and protection - Anthyr the god of storms and Alda the goddess of the earth.
These deities and others are worshipped and revered not only in Borea but also by the Borean barbarians of The Wild Lands
There are other deities in the pantheon including:
- Isha - the beautiful but mischievous goddess of guile and trickery, seen as the source of many misfortunes and courted by those in need of good fortune
- Shamsa - the wielder of the steel - a mysterious and shadowy figure of the dark places who decides when a person's life will come to an end and meets them at the moment of their death
- Tog - the builder, a massive squat figure who dwells beneath the earth and teaches stonecraft and masonry
