The Wild Lands
This is not one country, or a dozen, nor is it a tribe, or the single roaming space of nomadic hunters. This is a vast swathe of unconquered and uncivilised land that stretches across the north from dawn to dusk and back again. It contains mountains, forests, plains, wastelands, marshes and more.
It is the home to countless tribes and bands of barbarians and those who have refused to bend the knee to any of the known powers.
It is not a place to travel lightly, and on the border between the wild lands and the civilised nations, nobody sleeps soundly for raids are common and a state of hostility is almost always ready to erupt.
