Anthyr

The storm-god of The Cult of Borea, Anthyr is tempestuous and wrathful, yet fierce in guarding the people that are his.
He is depicted as a gigantic barbaric figure with flowing red hair and tanned skin overpainted with blue symbols. He holds a spear in either hand and is usually raging in expression.
His temples and holy places are at high points and eschew walls and fences near the sanctuary. The open air is his domain.
He is prayed to for courage, for energy, for the overcoming of obstacles. More mundanely he is petitioned for beneficial weather. He particularly hates the people of Algard it is said, and his winds have often driven away the raiding fleets of those fierce people.
