Elasha Character in Beyond Greater Anghor - A Middle Earth Adventure | World Anvil

Elasha

Background

Captain of The Defenders of the Cross Upon the Wood, Elasha’s contingent of elvish warriors are renowned for their skills with the bow and blade. In particular, she was Thranduil’s defensive expert.

Betrayed & Defeated

As the Enemy gained a foothold in Mirkwood, Thranduil sent Elasha and her company, Elisen, to Dol Guldur to investigate and root out if possible. Thranduil did not know how powerful the evil was there, and it was too much for even the Elisen to take head on. Worse still, Filnar, Thranduil’s cousin, betrayed the company and led them into an ambush. Elasha’s company was broken, and she was disgraced. She pledged to disband and become a hermit in exile.

Rise of the Defenders

The Forsaken pursued and killed Filnar, without getting Thranduil’s consent. For this, they were banished from The Woodland Realm. Elasha, to her shame, felt that it should have been her to make the kill, thereby protecting her soldiers. Disgraced by her perceived cowardice, she gathered her disbanded troop and became defenders against the creeping evil in southern Mirkwood. Later, she would be turned to stone by the treachery of Dagmar.
