TCS Guardian Singblade

Late in their existence, the TCS Guardian Force Under-Captain Bert Bear requested a rather unique weapon from the Toledo City-State(organization:c1616be9-5667-4c0b-ac8c-d508da1fa3e0) Artificers. Bear wanted a short cutlass-type weapon that could go through enemy armor, material, even vehicles much like some of their other weapons could. This would allow his forces to have an efficient weapon in stealth missions as well as "conceal" the presence of the Guardian. Lastly, Bear wanted a weapon that would be terrifying to be faced against. He had visions of armored Guardians cutting swathes through enemy forces like a farmer cutting through hay. The Artificers ended up producing a small number of short blades that matched most of what Bear was looking for. The materials to produce them were very expensive and Bear's request was made in 86 PE, leading to only a small number of Singblades being produced before the end of the @[Mid-Ohio Resource War and the eventual banning of weapons based on Artificer technology.    The Singblade, so named due to the low level but crystal clear humming of the blade when empowered, is a short cutting sword (blades are about 28" in total length) with a close single knucklebow. When the wielder grips tightly at the very base of the hilt, the "singer" is enabled. Powered by a long-lasting Glow Rock micro-engine, the "singer" vibrates the blade edge at a near microscopic level. Combined with a very hard yet resilient steel alloy, the "singer" allows the blade to pass rather easily through objects, magnifying the cutting ability of the weapon. While not necessarily up to the dreams and hopes of Under-Captain Bear, the Singblade is significantly more effective against hardened armor, light cover, etc.    The legality of the Singblade is questionable. For some reason, the The Union of Artificers did not receive record of the weapon's development when it took over the TCS armories. So few were ever made and all of those in service at the end of the war were hidden by their owners less they be confiscated. Therefore, the existence of the Singblade is unknown to the current Union. It is not a registrable weapon, but nor is it immediately recognizable as an Artificer weapon, just as Bear desired.
