Small Salvaged Artificer Engine
The 'Hawks discovered a buried cart truck near a ruined Earth That Was overpass west of the The Skyline Motel and north of old Indianapolis. The truck was buried under the side berm of the overpass and looked like it had been there for a while. Under a rotting tarp was a small (for vehicular engines) circular engine of unknown design and origin. Outside the chambers and a socket for a driveshaft of some kind, though, no real intakes for fuel, air, etc. were found. Once the Scraphawks were able to extract the engine from its tomb, they discovered a pull that brought the engine to life. It was here they discovered that the engine appears to be a piece of Artificer Technology.
