Terrax

Home of the Terraxians

Terrax is the second planet from the star in the Beta Fauna star system. It is a savannah world with dry, hot summers and wet winters with high rainfall. It has three continents which to the dominant species the Terraxians are known as Urax, Nutheria and Sutheria. Urax is a pangea-like continent while the others are island-based. The planet has multiple different sapient species with the dominant being Terraxians, while also containing many wild and domesticated species such as the Garriss.

History

The planet is currently going through a 'continental drift' stage explaining why one continent is so much larger than the others. In the 10th Century ATU, the Terraxians created a device to halt this tectonic shift so as to prevent their continent from splitting, which it had begun to. This led to an extinction level event in the 12th Century ATU, creating a new geographic layout that would not be mapped.
