"Defender"

One of the "Treelings" found protecting the vault by being a part of the canopy surrounding it. When Hadley Messer and Professor James Short approached the outer wall it around, but was unable to stop them from sliding under his legs inside the canopy. "Defender" repelled the two Baal-Rog that followed them. Once the Baal-Rog withdrew it returned to the outter wall becoming part of the physical defense.
It later confronted Wolfen sent to assist the Elf on the island as well as Eric Harmon, Dr. Elijah Heartman and Erem Scathac. The Wolfen bowed in response saying they were there to help the elves. Professor Short was able to help convince "Defender" to allow them into the canopy to assist with the defense of the vault.
