Elf

A group of people encountered by the group while protecting the Vault with the help of the "Treelings". Through the use of song magic they were first able to repel the Fire Wyrm effect of Song Mages for Axel by first creating crystal shielding to block the strikes then merging the shielding to create a crystal golem to fight the Fire Wyrm construct head on.
Their chieftain spoke with the group explaining their primary purpose was to protect the vault and their friends the Treelings. They have little interest what happens outside but from the reports he was able to give in regards to Axel's camp and general whereabouts it appeared he does has a steady source of information on the world around him. The chief could not provide a map but offered to provide a guide to help the group find their way to the camp. He also explained that the group would need to pass trials to enter the vault. When the group agreed to enter the vault, a collection of trees moved to show the opening of a crystal cave leading to the vault itself. For reasons not revealed in session the Wolfen shaman saw a vision that the elves needed their help and seem to revere the elves.
The physical appearance of the elves incorporates animal parts such as feathers and antlers but also plant growth upon their skin. They appeared to communicate directly with the treelings and understand when spoken to in return. The style of song magic they demonstrated utilized mostly string and wind instruments with a chorus that may have been support in part or whole from the treelings.
