"Treelings"

The player group encounters a group of living plant creatures that are protecting something they refer as the vault. At first they appear hostile as Hadley Messer and Professor James Short approach the canopy surrounding the vault. However the two of them slide under the outside defender and encounter more inside. All the while the "Defender" keeps the clear threat of the Baal-Rog approaching. Within the canopy the they encounter a "treeling" who appears to communicate through movement and sounds akin to shaken leaves. Short and Hadley speak to the "Shaker" and this draws the attention of another "treeling" who is able to communicate with them more directly. "Shaker" walks off and becomes part of a tree (which coincidentally is nearby where Dr. Elijah Heartman choses to sit and brood later).

In speaking with the "Speaker" was once with them. They ended up parting ways and are upset with Gemini for choosing to not only stay but also endangering organic ship which they refer to as an Arboreal Ship. "Speaker" goes on to say the "Treelings" are welcomed to come and live with them and gives the blessing may they grow up strong and true. "Speaker" listened to Hadley as she explains how she has exposed them to her culture through TV and books.
