"That would be me, boyo," the little halfling approached, his broom sweeping the area as he moved.
"A halfling, what do you do? clean up?" the human laughed as he spoke.
"Yep, and that's Hin, not halfling,".
"Get out of my way Half size," with that the human kicked at the Hin. without dropping his broom the Hin grabbed the leg and lifted it up and back, the human had to obey his leg and fell backwards. the Hin then used the broom to launch himself up and onto the human, both feet hitting the human's solar plexus.
unable to breathe the human almost passed out.
"My name's Perrin, and I can train you to actually fight well, bucko,".

Personal history
his parents were poor, and he was dutiful, at 21 he joined the Imperial Army to try and improve his lot, and for three years he fought, against demonic incursions and monster infestations. then he felt he could not do that anymore.
He bought his service ending and left to join a monastery that was conveniently near. after nine years at the monastery he followed the signs to Northern Bretonny, where he fell in with the Ninth Legion.
Armenius recognized his worth as a trainer and helped him set up the Fighter's Lodge.
He hopes that this is his destiny.
