Hazel eyes and muscular build, a legionnaires legionnaire, he is devoted to the Circle and the Promotion of the Empress' Word. He is a tough man leading a tough legion whose purpose was to find the reasons for troubles and end the troubles, in a world at peace. He runs his private life like a military campaign, though he did once adopt a street urchin who tried to rob him.

His mother had died in childbirth, and he had been cut from her body.
Prior to joining the Army, while he was studying to be a Cleric of the Divine Circle he used one of the servants at his home as a concubine. She was an attractive Haffork, and he fell in love with her. He got her pregnant but she disappeared with his daughter, before he could marry her.
Joined the Army straight after graduating from the Cathedral of the Divine Circle, where he majored in comparative religion. having gotten a woman pregnant before marriage meant he could not get a civilian Parish. Took to military life like a duck to water.
Knows Military theory like the back of his hand. He also understands psychology, and criminology.

it actually began 20 years ago when he fathered a child with a Haffork maid, his concubine, a daughter. The girl's mother was not considered good enough so she was paid to leave, with the child. It really took off four years ago when a half Orc street urchin tried to pick his pocket and he thought he recognized her mother in her face. Questioning lead him to realize she was probably his daughter, so he adopted her and got her into the army.
