Rewer, Patron Deity of Metallurgy
Patron of Metallurgy (a.k.a. The Forge-Devil)
Before a simmering stone pit stands a horned figure with onyx-dark skin. The light of the flames dance across her skin, making her a standing shadow. Her array of horns look much akin to the points of spears against the backdrop of a raging battle.
She steps to the side, tail flicking back and forth as she shifts her metalworking tools into their proper arrangement and then gazes deep into the fire.
A light "hmph," slips from her lips as she reaches her tongs into the pit, drawing out a red-hot sword blank, simultaneously picking up her hammer. She strides through her workshop to an anvil, and sets to work pounding it into shape. The sparks glitter in her silver eyes, beautiful and haunting.
This process goes on for many days, and by the end, the glimmer is replaced with satisfaction as the weapon lays finished. It is added to a collection of many others, and once again the figure takes hold of a new piece of metal.
