Morality & Philosophy
The Great Serpent is treated as the center point of the Eireonic Gods in some interpretations of the pantheon due to its wide influence. Oaths, pacts, agreements, and promises all fall under the Serpent's scrutiny. The binding oaths made between mortals and gods especially meet their eye, and breaking these binding agreements makes you two-fold a sinner. It is for this sanctity of promises that Ettus strives unflinchingly.
