Let no one get in your way, and rule the land proudly.Spitzenteufel was not originally Vater's dream, but in fact the ambition of a Pariah from a small no-name mountain town. Alexi dreamt of a unified nation ruled from the highest peak in the West, safe from invasion from The Northern Wastes and the plague that ravages much of the countryside.
With his passing, he was reborn as Deus, and ultimately would become the host for Vater, enabling Alexi's dream to become a reality.
Deus is viewed as some kind of immortal shell to Lord Vater, ageless and unwavering in their loyalty to Spitzenteufel.

Biologically Deus is a Pariah human with no particularly extreme proportions.
His body is seemingly bit decrepit under his wrappings, likely bulked up by nanomachines and not actual muscle or fat bulk.

Facial Features
While usually covered, on the rare occasions his face is visible, his cheekbones are very pronounced, with the majority of his face very gaunt and sunken in. His chin is pointed, with a pointed nose.
Apparel & Accessories
His body and face are covered nearly at all times. Deus wears a tailor made black and dark gray vest with a white collared shirt underneath, a pair of black slack style pants, and a large dark gray cape. He wears a pair of leather gloves that extend into his sleeves, and wears a wide brimmed hat that conceals his face unless he looks up.

Personal history
Alexi was born in a small no-name town in the mountains in modern day Spitzenteufel, and dreamt of a unified nation. He would form a small militia dedicated to this cause, and travelled from town to town rallying people to his cause.
Among those who would follow him was a golem who went by the alias "Deus", sharing his ideals, although through a more aggressive means.
In the summer of 3082, Alexi was inflicted with the Plague, his mind steadily degrading as he travelled. Realizing he was a dead man, he instructed Deus to take over his body and carry on his legacy. This rebirth marks the beginning of Spitzenteufel's rise to power.
With Alexi's morals slipping before his death, he was told to make his empire happen by any means possible. His status as a flesh golem unknown to the world around him, Deus began conquering any territory that resisted his banner, and would form Fiale at the peak of the tallest mountain in the West. This nation would be known as Heldentraum
For a century Heldentraum's territory would grow and shrink, stuck in a state of stagnation until a chance encounter with the demon Vater gave Deus the influence he needed to create a truly formidable empire.
Vater spent months spreading his influence across the nation in secret, sowing dissent amongst the townsfolk in order to take control and build his own empire. When Vater took to the capital, instead of being struck down, Deus saw opportunity. A chance to fulfill Alexi's dream, and elevate himself to the social status of a god.
Vater and Deus joined forces, Deus acting as his host and avatar, "replacing" the leadership of the empire with the newly titled "Lord" Vater. Heldentraum was no more, with the demon at the tip of the mountain, the nation became Spitzenteufel.
With Vater's silver tongue and uncanny ability to influence the masses, and Deus' brutal tactics, the empire grew rapidly, and a mythos surrounded them of godhood and immortality.
The rumors would be embraced, exaggerated, and used as propaganda. Spitzenteufel is led not by some man, but by an immortal god.

Mental Trauma
Despite being a Flesh Golem himself, Deus has a morbid fear of his empire being overrun by flesh golems. With the appearance of Sula, the Reaper, he has publicly damned flesh golems, and has ordered all to be exterminated with extreme prejudice.

Deus has always seen results more important than the means used to achieve them, and with Alexi's degrading sanity instructing him to use any means necessary to take power, Deus became notoriously brutal.
