Talassi Islands

The Talassi Islands are the group of islands to the northwest part of the Conian Archipelago, made up of 24 islands in total, but three main ones - Talsticon, Bergicon, and Berillicon. Although some scholars suggest that the Talassi Islands should be considered a separate geographical location than the Conian Isles, most say the opposite, due to both the Talassi Islands' proximity to the rest of the islands, as well as the language and cultural ties to them.

Geography

The Talassi Islands are very mountainous and rocky, similar to the other Conian islands, but, due to their smaller size, there is less arable land available on the islands, forcing the inhabitants to rely more on fishing as a source of food. It does, in fact, rain quite often on the islands, allowing them to have a comfortable amount of fresh water, but it is nowhere near as abundant as the other Conian islands.

Fauna & Flora

The Black palm and the Grey oak are native species of trees to these islands and have played a vital role in the islands' development. Shrubs and moss fill the crevices of the rocky terrain. Mountain goats are very abundant on the islands as well, as they are very well suited to the environment there. Many species of birds are native to the islands.

Natural Resources

The Talassi islands are mainly known for their abundance of lumber, but each island has a specific natural resource. Talsticon is home to a small iron mine; Bergicon has a natural supply of jade; and Berillicon has an abundance of salt.
