Armor Piercing X

Some attacks can penetrate armor with an ease that belies their meager strength.   Wounds caused by a model with this special rule (or who is attacking with a weapon that has this special rule) count as a Strength X higher than the attack for purposes of modifying Armor Save only. This stacks with the modifiers from the Strength of the attack. If a model has the rule, unless otherwise specified it only applies to melee combat attacks. If it is on a weapon, it only affects the attacks made or shots fired using that weapon. This rule is cumulative with other sources of Armor Piercing.   For example, if a model with Strength 4 had a weapon with Armor Piercing 2, it would still need to wound at Strength 4 but should they succeed at wounding, the enemy model would have to roll their Armor Save as if they were hit by Strength 6.
