Tradition and Honor

Ikoto is a man honor. He follows a strict moral code known as the Code of Irassamu that guides his every action and influences every decision. This code of honor is considered an Anachronism by the The Radiant Seat and a disruption of the peace. As such, following the teachings of Irassamu is forbidden by Edicts of Tranquility. Despite this, Ikoto refused to give up his way of life. For a time, all was well, but all good things come to an end. The Radiant Seat condemned Ikotos defiance of the Edicts of Tranquility and labeled him an Agent of Shadow. He was banished from his inner district home and sentenced to live out the rest of his days in the Shattergleam Forest.

Founder and Leader of the Twilight Rangers

Ikoto arrived in Shattergleam before the arrival of the Miasmata. When the shadow creatures began to invade the Shattergleam Forest, it was Ikoto who took up weapons to fight off the threat. Using bow staffs, clubs, and rocks, he managed to slay dozens of lesser monsters before help could arrive from the Illuminated Ones. Realizing that this would not be the last of the monsters, Ikoto founded the Twilight Rangers in order to provide expedient defense to the people of the shadowy district.

A Grieving Husband

Ikoto grieves for his late wife Hinoka who was left behind during the The Great Ingress. He hopes that she fares well, wherever she is, but in his heart he knows that she is dead. Ikoto is banned from speaking about his wife by the Edict of Silence but he will not sully her memory with the demands of the The Radiant Seat.
