I must say that I'm at a loss. There's already been a rumbling of rebellion among the populace, and these new taxes are going to make it worse. Demography and Population

Allsvin's population is about 80% human, with a healthy halfling population scattered throughout. Dwarves are rare, elves and gnomes live in the nearby Bearclaw Forest, which the king erroneously claims as his own. A smattering of non-human races reside in the cities and do business there.

Religion

Two main religions exist in Allsvin, at least publicly. The capital city holds the main temple of the god Marticon, who has the most sway in this country. However, the king himself also reveres the archfiend Mammon, and had a shrine to the fiend erected in the city as well as a small one in the castle itself.

Agriculture & Industry

Much of the land depends upon agriculture, with wheat, potatoes, oats, and various fruits being the major crops. Sheep and cows are plentiful, and the Duchy of Verinay is well known for its horse breeding.

Trade & Transport

Trade with other countries is done via ship since Allsvin is an island nation.
