Second Tearful Return
The Second Tearful Return is a period spanning from 2R4266 to 3R128 wherein the magics utilized during the First Tearful Return were again cast to call all pureblooded Elves to the lands retained by the Domain of Wispenroot following the Fall of Old Armoriel in 2R4266. Any Moreliath elf feeling the call was compelled to return to safe lands, often leaving behind newfound families and acquaintances in other parts of the world. This event is responsible for the relative scarcity of elves outside of Wispenroot, and explains the large quantity of people with partial Elvish ancestries in the Perellian province of Corellia.
