Old Armoriel

Old Armoriel was the capital of the Elvish Empire of Moreliath. Built high upon the trees of what is now the Silva Mutensa in the Republic of Perellia's province of Magna Armonia, Armoriel was a veritable jewel; it was known throughout the Hinterlands as a center of learning, magic, and the arts.
Armoriel fell in 2R4266 after a long and brutal siege. The royal family and its advisers promptly fled Armoriel as it burned, moving their seat of power to the city of Elderwood in Wispenroot.
