First Tearful Return
The First Tearful Return was a period beginning around the year 2R3492 and ending around the year 2R3680. During this time, primal magic was utilized by the druids and mages of the Empire of Moreliath to call back its people to the then-capital, Armoriel. Pureblooded Elves felt a call to return to safety, oftentimes leaving newfound families and acquaintances in the lands now occupied by the Republic of Perellia following its conquest of the southern reaches of Moreliath. This call would be repeated several centuries later after the fall of Old Armoriel, an event known as the Second Tearful Return.
