Hessap

Hessap is the Gerish god of mountains and stone. His worship is concentrated in the County of Geryatdale, but shrines and temples to him have popped up in other places as well. A fusion of Hesseth, the Marlish god of the earth, and Sappo, an enigmatic chthonic deity worshipped by the Ancient Gero whose myths have largely been lost, faith in Hessap is kept mostly by Gerishmen. The village of Hessapwic in the County of Denplum, which was founded by enterprising Gerish settlers, is host to Charlish converts.

Divine Manifestations

Hessap the Mountain Lord

The Mountain Lord is Hessap's only notable manifestation, and the only manifestation acknowledged by the Church of the Six. Officially, worship of the Mountain Lord is, according to the Church of the Six, actually an unorthodox honoring of Hesseth, which was the main justification for the allowance of his worship. The Mountain Lord is typically depicted as a crying middle-aged man holdinbg a mountain.
