Session 41: The Sea to the Star: Part 1
General Summary
The last day of Fall Feather, and on the rise of the next month, Ghost's Memory, you all are reminded of the reasoning behind its name. The Treaty that established this calendar was wrought from ages of blood. This month is to remember the fallen even if they are somehow now forgotten.
Devout characters are often found at sunrise and sunset saying these prayers, usually in common, taught by the great St. Cuthbert.
The night of the Juggernaut attack, and the Crew gathers for Ilknar's blessing of the sea, the waterbreathing, and Aikhon convinces Dosgratin to open a few kegs, and for Kevdae with some biscuits for the morning, for the crew in memory of Skiff's death and Rognur's departure from the crew. The Razor's crew with Thej his sister Seambra, her escort, and a gnomish woman Xamila "Mila" Twinberry , who was abandoned from her own crew of the Faces of the King after they failed at an encounter with Thej's crew. She searches for her father for some reason, or at least some acceptance from a new crew. The crew enjoys the booze, and they discuss the possible futures against orcs, the Faces, and many other unknowns. Should Skiff get a funeral?
Towards the end of the night, Aikhon goes to Ganoi to see his standing after Rognur's departure. The young goblin wishes to not be with Thej and the Razor anymore, and Aikhon agrees to have him take the place of Rognur after Ganoi gets some other training to help with that surgeon's position.
Up on deck, MIla creates a magical sleep position after not being offered a place to sleep. This attracts Ilknar's attention and he wraths and her lack of awareness, and who the hell is she? A stowaway? This soon brings others, Ganoi, Gyc, Vaxid of the Dragonborn refugees, Auna and 76, Firi at the helm, Brimstone and Aikhon. They find her truth, her relations, and soon all go to bed.
The dragon brothers stay up in the Captain's quarters, though, and they discuss E'krae's deal, the golden dragonheart, the white orb of dragonkind, the need for Noodles' facsimile of the same blue orbs of E'krae's to not let these items fall into dark hands. They did not expect any of this, the first daughter and the medusa, robbing a crypt, dragonhearts coveted by the faces of the King. Also, will Auna take a place on the ship? Their Future?
They rest, and the next morning, the first day of Ghost's Memory, the crew wakes up early for a needed meeting among officers and other associates.
Auna and Torth, Thej, Mila and Thej's sister, Pojin and E'krae, Scepsi and Brimstone, and Aikhon and Ilknar, and Valia outside the window snickering with Deoy. They discuss that the Razor will still be lead by Thej and not E'krae, and that they need to head to Feon as soon as possible. Torth will join them, and Ganoi will be the Surgeon with Mercou's assistance, and Auna, too, when she is not in her new Gunner position. This will also make E'krae first mate of the Razor, and Roland will be Third Mate of the Call.
