Rhennes the Empire of the Sun
Originally an alliance of trading princes along the Tainseau River and in the Saille River Delta, Rhennes is now a prosperous unified nation under the rule of the Sun Emperor Renard Valois. Spreading out from the Saille River the land turns into soft rolling hills and quiet forests, intersected by roads leading to the great trade cities.
Rhennes is a land of musketeers, jesters, ornate cavalry, grand Operas, and long summers. Of all the nations in Felizeen it contains the largest amount of non-human inhabitants, from halflings and giants to elves and the lone Dragon of Bervoie. Infernal magic is legal and commonly practiced by the nobility, though traces of Far Realm magic can be found as well.
