Vrasu Empire

The Vrasu Empire rose to end conflict among the Qossamoth before expanding its mission to ending all strife.  Whether or not they are succeeding or not is a matter of great debate within the empire. After pacifying Votheron, the Empire extended their reach to the other Qossamoth colonies, and then to other neighboring systems. Their mission to end conflict has turned the empire into a perpetual war machine.   Before the rise of the empire, famine and strife ran rampant throughout the planet. Among the Vrasu people, the Pratah Esoti; who is believed to be the incarnation of Qhethar, the god of wisdom, gathered a strong following around his plan to reorganize their nation in line with the doctrines of the faith to end the infighting and provide for the needs of the people. Soon, his movement gathered adherents in the other nations.   Vrasu converted without a fight, as did Vluric and Zihkaeth.  Eksuull declared war on the nascent empire and Sythi's reorganized military led them to a swift victory. The war with Bekraum took longer. Sythi convinced the Pratah Esoti that they could no longer wait for trouble to come to them. They needed to strike it down when they saw it and not wait for it come to them and savage their people.   The reforms implemented by Pratah Esoti Gamir and Justicar Sythi divided the administration of the empire into three seats of power. The Esoti handled civil and cultural affairs, while the Justicars administered justice and ran the military and foreign affairs. The Board of Whispers comprised the legislative authority and were comprised of semi-anonymous  ministers from the districts who served in 2 year terms. Only the joint agreement of the three could declare war, but the Justicar retained the authority to engaging in limited skirmishes and defensive actions.   While life in the empire is far from utopian, the propaganda from the empire claims otherwise. The people are fed, housed, and given basic medical care. When a Pratah Esoti dies, the Hiszaa Esoti takes their place and finds the next incarnation. In the rare circumstances that there isn't a Pratah Esoti or Hiszaa Esoti, the Rin Esoti takes their position and finds the other two incarnations.   Over the last seven years, relations with the Pathfinder's Circle have deteriorated to the point where Prime Justicar Kozry added them to the list of nations of concern.
